4/29/13

Oh boy. What has happened this week? I was gone from my area most of the time doing last minute exchanges and weekly planning with companions before the transfer ends. Next transfer, if I am even still a zone leader, my companion and I will sit down and make plans for when we will go on exchanges.

May Creek Elders were probably the most enjoyable going on exchanges with. Elder Johnson is the District Leader there and he is one of the most accomplished, yet humble wrestlers I have ever heard of. His companion, Elder Ward is just a really humble Elder. We had a great time. They hadn't placed anyone on date for baptism the whole transfer. But that all changed! Before I left, Serina, a middle-aged woman, heading out to vegas for the week, is on her way to baptism in the May Creek Ward for May 25th! Huzzah! They experienced a miracle with her the next day and ran into her on accident and were able to get her phone number from her. Elder Johnson told it to me so proudly. That's one of the best things about being Zone Leader. The missionaries in the Zone call and are just SO HAPPY when they get a miracle.

Next, I hopped right on over to Fairwood ward and walked from appointment to appointment with them. We would have RAN if Elder Fotu's leg wasn't injured. We put 3 people on date for baptism there after not having done that for about 3 weeks. I got to meet up with Chris, the one I interviewed for baptism who is now baptized. He is doing great. He is still struggling with feeling the spirit, but he is starting to learn what that all means and that it was definitely present at his baptism.

Elder Burgess left today. He was transfered to another area in the mission. It was not fun to hand him off. We both miss him. He will do great things where he is now.

I keep forgetting to answer your question about the new mission. If I stay here at end of next transfer. Then I will be in the new Federal Way Mission. If I am transferred to Seattle or Bellevue, I will continue to be in the re-aligned yet orginally named, Washington Seattle Mission. If there's any chance of being sent back to Dash Point, I would do mostly anything to stay here in this mission. Elder Barnett thinks I am going to be Zone Leader in Bellevue. Part of me says, that wouldn't be too bad. THEY PLAN EXTREMELY WELL OVER THERE!

Elder Aidukitis is coming this week, as opposed to last week. President Larkin is more fired up than ever. He just was done meeting with Elder Holland, which is firey enough, but then he is also just super excited for Elder Aidukitis coming and so are we. I have been working on getting a hair cut for the past three weeks and it is out of this world right now. I also need to dry clean my suits, they are... muddy. I'll explain later... sometime... maybe.

I am sorry, I really can't remember too much about the passed week. It flew by. I am tired. Oh, I sent in the extention information! President Larkin is working on it right now!
